Over the past 9 years, this event had grown to become a staple sporting event in HRM annually. Evolving from a race with 48 participants to the biggest triathlon in Atlantic Canada and hosting the first ever Canadian Sprint National Championship in 2005, event organizers and Investors Group as Title Sponsor are proud of the commitment made within the Triathlon community during those years.

Unfortunately, as all good things come to an end, it was decided that we will not hold an event in 2008, thus making 2007 the final year of this staple event.

I would like to personally acknowledge all supporting sponsors, the many volunteers, and all friends made within those years in which helped us make this event a success year after year. Without the dedication of these individuals, this event could not have succeeded !!
